Become a  Member of C.E.R.T

2016 C.E.R.T. BASIC TRAINING CLASS SCHEDULE:
2/9, 2/16, 2/23, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15 and 3/22
All classes will be held from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM
at the
Nassau County Office of Emergency Management Lecture Hall
510 Grumman Rd. West, Bethpage, NY 11714

Nassau County Legislators Laura Schaefer and Rose Marie Walker are asking residents to become involved and join C.E.R.T., the Community Emergency Response Team.

C.E.R.T. is a program that educates and trains Nassau County residents in basic disaster response and recovery skills. When an emergency or disaster happens, C.E.R.T. members can give critical support to first-line responders and provide immediate assistance to their community.

C.E.R.T. Training includes: Fire Safety Procedures, Disaster Medical Operations, Light Search and Rescue Techniques, Team Organization Skills and Disaster Psychology.

Attend 7 FREE Basic Training classes to become a C.E.R.T. Team Member.
The training will give you peace of mind, and help you to help your family and
community if an emergency arises.
