Residents will have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with Department of Assessment staff to learn about
tax exemptions as well as process their applications on-site

Nassau County Department of Assessment staff will be equipped with direct access to the County’s property databases will be able to process the tax exemption applications on-site, including Basic & Enhanced STAR, Veterans, Senior Citizen, Cold War Veterans, Volunteer Firefighters & Ambulance Workers.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring an EXTRA COPY of their current tax bill, current Federal Income Tax Return, and proof of residency to the workshop to save time and speed up processing of the application.
