Legislator Rose Marie Walker, in partnership with County Executive Bruce Blakeman, Senator Steve Rhoads, Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz, Nassau County Office of Crime Victim Advocate, Nassau County Office for the Aging and Nassau County Police Department Community Affairs, is hosting a free scam awareness presentation to help residents identify scams, learn how to report one and how to recover if they ever become a scam victim. The program includes important information on topics such as:

- How financial abuse and exploitation occur
- Scams to be aware of
- Possible signs of financial abuse
- Ways to protect yourself
- What to do if you have been a victim
