Dear Resident,
Each year, Thanksgiving provides us with an opportunity to give thanks for all of life’s blessings. Traditionally, the holiday is a time for family and friends to come together to share a festive meal, catch up on their lives, perhaps watch some football and enjoy each other’s company.
As the official kick-off to the holiday season, Thanksgiving also stirs up excitement and anticipation for the holidays that follow as well as some much-needed time off. Surrounding yourself with loved ones and remembering special moments you’ve shared together exemplifies the season’s true meaning and allows for time to appreciate all of the wonderful gifts in our lives that we too often take for granted.
Personally, I have much to be thankful for including my family and friends and the wonderful memories I’ve been so fortunate to help create and share with them. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to continue representing the citizens of Nassau County as your Legislator and to be part of the hardworking, diverse community that I’m proud to call home.
My sincerest best wishes to everyone for a Happy Thanksgiving and a joyous and healthy holiday season ahead. Please take a moment today, to remember all who serve to keep us safe and secure, including members of the armed forces, our police, firefighters and all who serve in public safety.
