(GREAT NECK, N.Y.) - Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D - Great Neck) thanked the members of Great Neck Boy Scouts Troop 10 for their dedication to keeping the community clean and green. On Saturday, May 15, members of the troop cleared litter from two County-owned parcels in Great Neck – one along Piccadilly Road and one by Clent Road. “For generations, scouting organizations have distinguished themselves through their commitment to volunteerism and environmentalism, and this weekend’s cleanup is an extension of that proud tradition,” Legislator Birnbaum said. “Thank you all for your dedication to beautifying our community!”
