Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum Honors Great Neck Plaza
‘Artist of the Month’ Joan Brill-Pavlovic
(GREAT NECK PLAZA, N.Y.) – Nassau County Legislator Ellen W. Birnbaum (D – Great Neck) presented a Nassau County Legislature Certificate of Appreciation to Great Neck Plaza Artist of the Month Joan Brill-Pavlovic.
Brill-Pavlovic’s photographs are on display as part of “Long Island - A Personal View” at Great Neck Plaza Village Hall, where a reception was held on Wednesday, Oct. 17. Her photographs capture natural subjects, architecture, details of historic buildings like the Saddle Rock Grist Mill and reflections captured on various surfaces.
“It was my pleasure to celebrate Joan’s recognition as Great Neck Plaza’s Artist of the Month,” Legislator Birnbaum said. “I thank the leaders of Great Neck Plaza Village for celebrating and highlighting the arts and thank Joan for making an important cultural contribution that her neighbors and friends can enjoy.”
