St. Francis Hospital Free Flu Shot & Community Health Screenings Program

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) highly recommends getting your flu shot this fall to help reduce your risk of getting the flu. Presiding Officer Rich Nicolello, Legislator Mazi Pilip and Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Jennifer DeSena are joining together with Catholic Health’s St. Francis Hospital to provide free flu shots for individuals ages 18 and older. Insurance is not required and advanced reservations are not needed. The Community Health Outreach Bus will also offer free health screenings – including blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes – for those age 18 and older.
