Mineola, NY – Nassau County Executive Laura Curran stood with Assemblyman Charles Lavine, Assemblyman Ed Ra, the New York State Nursing Association, and many more to call on the state legislature to adopt the Safe Staffing for Quality Care Act.
“Research shows that safe staffing levels means shorter hospital stays, better patient outcomes, and hospitals who have safe staffing levels are find that it is a cost-effective way to improve patient outcomes,” said County Executive Curran. “We are calling on our state legislature to approve the Safe Staffing for Quality Care Act.”
