[ARCHIVED] Legislator Steve Rhoads encourages you to become a member of C.E.R.T.

C.E.R.T

The Community Emergency Response Team (C.E.R.T.) program educates and trains Nassau County residents in basic disaster response and recovery skills. When an emergency or disaster happens, C.E.R.T. members can give critical support to first-line responders and provide immediate assistance to their community.

C.E.R.T. Training includes: Fire Safety Procedures, Disaster Medical Operations, Light Search and Rescue Techniques, Team Organization Skills and Disaster Psychology

Legislator Rhoads, himself a first responder and ex-Captain of the Wantagh Fire Dept., invites all to attend 7 FREE training classes to become a C.E.R.T. member.2015 C.E.R.T.
BASIC TRAINING CLASS SCHEDULE: 7/16, 7/23, 7/30, 8/6, 8/13, 8/20 and 8/27

All classes are on Thursdays from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM
