AMVETS POST #88 recently held their 56th annual Pearl Harbor Memorial Ceremony at Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale to memorialize the 73rd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. County Clerk O’Connell and other area officials joined community residents, Veterans and military personnel to honor the memory of those who gave their lives on December 7, 1941 and to show their appreciation for the men and women currently serving in the armed forces of the United States for their unparalleled dedication to preserve and protect our freedoms.
