(Mineola, NY) Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell and other area officials joined faculty, students and alumni of Chaminade High School for the dedication of “Gold Star Stadium” to honor the alumni who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our Great Nation. The memorial ceremony included a procession of the Chaminade and Kellenberg Memorial Football Teams and a Marine Color Guard. Additionally, there was a Blessing of the Stadium and a reading of the names of the Gold Star Alumni with the playing of Taps.
