Nassau County Legislator Steve Rhoads recently visited Mr. Bill Murphy’s 10th Grade Leadership in the Community class at Mepham High School in Bellmore. Legislator Rhoads addressed the class about what it means to be an upstanding citizen and a leader in the both the classroom and the community. Legislator Rhoads also discussed with the students how a community could be made better for everyone involved.
“Thank you to Mr. Murphy for inviting me to speak to his students at Mepham High School,” Legislator Rhoads said. “These students are our future leaders. I was thrilled to be able to discuss with them the issue they fell are important, and how to make sure their voices are heard.”
