CHILD CAR SEAT SAFETY CHECK
Nassau County Legislator Denise Ford and Christopher Mistron, Director of Nassau County Traffic Safety, offered free Child Seat Safety Inspections, hosted by the Village of Island Park Mayor Michel McGinty, to residents of Long Beach, Island Park, Woodmere, Lawrence & Oceanside, making sure children’s car seats are properly installed and secured.
More than 25 car seats were reinstalled during this event. “I hope that promoting child car seat safety will improve the well-being of our residents, reduce injuries, and save lives!” said Legislator Ford
