(Mineola, NY) Nassau County Clerk Maureen O’Connell recently hosted Tamie Kranis, CPA and owner of Creative Business Alternatives (“CBA”) and a group of graduating students from Kennedy High School that have been selected to participate in this years “Senior Experience Program” for a discussion and tour of the departments of the County Clerk’s Office. Creative Business Alternatives is an accounting firm in Bellmore, NY that has sponsored selected seniors from Kennedy’s “Senior Experience Program” for the last two years to teach them the basics of accounting and running a small business. The County Clerk’s office files Business Names and Corporations in Nassau County and maintains Business Certificates (D/B/A/), amendments and discontinuances. Clerk O’Connell was happy to be a part of this educational experience.
