Franklin Square, NY— On August 22nd, Legislator John Giuffré delivered a check for $50,000 to the Franklin Square & Munson Fire District. The check, which was funded by Community Revitalization Program money (CRP), will fund a new state-of-the-art training facility for the district’s members, as well as the departments in the 7th Battalion and neighboring departments.
“I am proud to help the men and women of the fire service by securing this funding for their new training facility,” Legislator John Giuffré said. “This new facility that will enhance the training capabilities of its members and further assist firefighters in performing their duties to protect Franklin Square and the surrounding communities. Thank you to all our firefighters for all you do!”
