Halls Pond Park – 831 Hempstead Ave., West Hempstead
Nassau County Legislators John Giuffré and Laura Schaefer are joining with the West Hempstead Community Support Association to host a Community Cleanup at Halls Pond Park in West Hempstead. Bring along a pair of gloves and some gardening tools, such as a rake, shovel, hedge clippers or pruning shears, and help us succeed in our goal of keeping our park and community clean and beautiful. Join us if you need community service hours or would just like to help keep our community clean. Community service letters will be available the day of the event. All age groups are welcome. Volunteer anytime that works best for you between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Check-in begins at 8:30 AM at the Gazebo. If you are interested in volunteering please email: swelti1@verizon.net
