Nassau County is assisting Nassau County veterans support non-profits (501(c)(3) and 501(c)(19) organizations only) that have experienced a financial loss or hardship due to the COVID-19 emergency and subsequent recovery. Grants of $10,000 per non-profit will be awarded to eligible non-profits providing veteran support.

PROGRAM UPDATE:
The Nassau County Main Street Recovery Grant Program (MSRGP) awards grants of $10,000 to small businesses and non-profits hard-hit by the pandemic on a first-come, first-served basis. Given the program’s tremendous success, the County Executive has asked the Nassau County Legislature to expand the program with an additional $10 million appropriation. While the County is continuing to accept applications, please be aware that we cannot guarantee they will be approved and funds disbursed without the additional appropriation. • NYS Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant Program– NYS program to provide grants of up to $50,000 to small businesses with 100 or fewer employees, including for-profit arts and cultural institutions demonstrating 25% loss in annual income due to COVID. • NYS Restaurant Resiliency Program– NYS program to provide grants to restaurants that choose to provide meals and food to people within distressed or under-represented communities. • NYS Arts & Cultural Organization Recovery Grant Program– Grant program administered by the NYS Council on the Arts (NYSCA) to provide funding to non-profit arts and cultural institutions for working capital and operating expenses. • Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL)– Loans for businesses and non-profits experiencing loss in revenue due to COVID for up to $500,000, repayable over a 30-year term at 3.75% fixed interest for businesses/2.75% fixed interest for non-profits. • Shuttered Venue Operators Grant – Emergency assistance grants of up to $10 million provided to eligible live venue operators/promoters, theatrical productions, live performing arts organization operators, museum operators, motion picture theater operators/owners, and talent representative with 50 or fewer full-time employees.
